Obituary for Sandra Kay Weifenbach (Neville)

Sandra Kay (Neville) Weifenbach, 81, of Van Buren, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024. Sandra was born April 19, 1942 in Odebolt, Iowa. She was a veteran of the United States Navy and had a deep love for our great country. She served as a Customer Service Manager at Outdoor Cap where she diligently met the needs of her customers as well as her fellow employees. Upon her retirement in 2007, the company founded the Sandy Weifenbach Award. This award is conferred yearly to an individual who exemplifies customer service, just as she did during her 18+ year tenure.
Sandra loved our Lord fiercely and demonstrated His love and grace with her daily actions. She greatly appreciated nature. She had a special admiration for the vibrant scenery of Colorado, and specifically the Rocky Mountains. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who passionately loved her family and stopped at nothing to ensure they were cared for. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Kenneth Weifenbach; son Marti Weifenbach; and grandson Logan Weifenbach.

Sandra is survived by one granddaughter, Kendra (Taylor) Robinson of Van Buren; one grandson, Taylor (Reagan) Weifenbach of Harrison; one great granddaughter, Wrylie Weifenbach; one brother, Larry Neville; two sisters, Dottie Hecht and Dawn Killmer; and a host of nieces and nephews.
