Obituary for Samuel Ford "Sam" White

Samuel "Sam" came into this world on November 2, 2001 and from the moment of his birth Sam carried love for every person and creature that crossed his path. If you had the pleasure of meeting Sam, within minutes you'd know how rare he was. You'd be met with a coy smile and twinkling eyes that charmed everyone. He carried within him an old soul that was kind, practical, intelligent and an endless capacity of care and concern for others.

Sam enjoyed all things prehistoric, collected Lego sets and was an avid reader. He also loves teaching his little brother, Connor, about all of these things.

Sam is survived by: his parents- Micheal and Jessica Gray and his little brother Connor Gray of Van Buren, AR. Grandparents- Amy White of Greenwood, AR- Rick and Anita White of Manteca, CA- Jewell Carver of Ft Smith, AR- Aunts, Uncles and cousins- Lindsay, Ricky, Hannah and Max Mars of Greenwood, AR- Debra and Katie Robinson- Ava and Jack Garrett of Ft Smith, AR- Mindy McReynolds, Ann Burke, and Molly Perry of Fort Smith- Jerald Carver of Fayetteville, AR- Herman and Melanie Lange of Ft Smith, AR- Chrissy and Buddy Arnold and family from Bella Vista, AR- as well as far too many friends and loved ones to list.

Samuel is proceeded in death by great grandparents: Ford and Louise McReynolds and Walt and Shirley Strain.

We would like to thank all of the medical staff that have been part of Samuel's journey throughout his life. Your kindness made a difference and we thank you. We'd also like to thank the hospice staff that helped provide Samuel with peace, comfort and dignity.

Samuel's passing leaves a void in this world and in many peoples lives. There will be a celebration of life to honor Samuel to be announced at a later date.
