Sammy Gene Wigginton, 83 of Pocola passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024 in a local nursing home. He was a retired butcher from Port Arthur, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents Sam O. and Lula (Alexander) Wigginton; one brother Bill Wigginton; one sister Pauline Cane.

He is survived by one daughter Stephanie Davis of Jasper, Texas; two sons Van Allen Wigginton and Greg Wigginton of Houston, Texas; one brother Glen Wigginton of Van Buren.

No formal service will be held at this time. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
