Obituary for Robert Gene Wilson
Robert Wilson, 53 of Van Buren passed away Monday, August 1, 2022 in a local hospital. He was a truck driver for Allen Canning Company; avid fisherman and Cardinal fan. He was of the non-denominational belief. He was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa (Goforth) Wilson; both his parents, Donald and Sharon (Collier) Wilson.
The family will visit with relatives and friends Thursday, August 4, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street in Van Buren. A burial of cremains will be at a later date.
He is survived by two stepdaughters, Sherry Moore of Alma, Kerri Thode of Somerset, Wisconsin; two stepsons, Terry Goforth of Alma, Brandon Roberts of Fort Smith; one sister, Kathleen Cox of Alma; three brothers, Raymond and James Foster both of Van Buren, Leon Opitz of Gassville, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews.
