Robert Wayne Strouss, 76, of Alma, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023 in a local nursing home. He was a retired auto mechanic, retired for the Fire Dept., District #3, a U. S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War and owner/operator of D and G Wrecker Service. Robert was a “Jack of All Trades”. He was born May 28, 1946 in Earlville, IL to the late Irwin Strouss and Virginia (Johnson) Maly and preceded in death by his wife, Mattie Sue Strouss.
Visitation will be from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. Sunday, April 30, 2023 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, AR. Memorial service will be Tuesday, May 30 2023 at 10:00 AM at US National Cemetery in Fort Smith, AR.
Survivors include daughters, Alicia Kneeland of Jackson, MO, Melissa Kirby and husband James of Alma, AR and Dodie Brumley and husband Butch of Ozark; sons, Matthew Strouss of Alma, AR and Corey Anderson of IN; Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild; sisters, Carol Roberts, Jan Wilson and Jennifer Minnis; brothers, John Strouss and Richard Denikas and several Nieces and Nephews.
