Obituary for Richard Wayne Wesley
Richard Wayne Wesley, 72, of Van Buren, AR passed away on Tuesday,
February 21, 2023 at his home. He was a carpenter and loved helping with his grandchildren. He also had a great love for his dog, Jade. He was an American Legion Post #573 member for 43 years and National Guard Company C, 2nd Bn. 130 infantry for 14 years all serving in Illinois. Richard was a life member of the North American Hunting Club. Richard was born November 2, 1950 in Danville, IL to the late Hubert Ray and Thelma Louise (Way) Wesley.
Memorial service will be 3:00 PM, Friday, March 17, 2023 at Ocker Chapel of Alma. The family will visit with friends from 1:00 until 3:00 PM Friday, March 17, 2023 at Ocker Chapel of Alma. Cremation is under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Survivors include his wife, Irma Wesley of the home; son, Matthew Wesley of Fayetteville, NC; daughter, Deanna Ryburn and husband Robert of Mountainburg and grandchildren, Sabina and Ruby Ryburn.
