Richard Darrell Solley, 74, of Van Buren, AR passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024 at a local hospital. He was a lab tech for Norton, a member of St. Michael’s Church and was a car club enthusiast. Richard was born January 5, 1950 in Charleston, AR to the late Sanford and Geneva (Corbell) Solley. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Judy (Harris) Solley; brothers, James Donald and Thomas Lee Solley.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment at Clark’s Chapel Cemetery south of Paris, AR under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. The family will visit with friends on Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 5:00 until 7:00PM at Ocker Chapel of Alma, 917 Hwy 64 E., Alma, AR. Darrell would love if anyone with a hot rod or show car would drive it to the visitation.

Survivors include daughters, Judy Darlene Solley of Springdale and Jackie Denise Stacy of Rudy; a son; Johnny Darrell Solley of Van Buren; grandchildren, Keesha Murray (Jerame), Fanchon Phanphengdee (Johnny), Jaime Black (Michael Hooper), Dustin Stacy (Nia), Kyleigh Stanley (Dustin), Ryan Solley, Kayse Sanders and Tristin Stacy and 18 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Stacy, Roger Harris, Jr., Dustin Stanley, Johnny Phanphengdee, Jerame Murray and David Jones.

Honorary pallbearers will be Harley Sorrels and Michael Hooper.
