Obituary for Rev. Joseph B "Joe" Bisby Jr.
Reverend Joe Bisby, Jr. of Mountainburg passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023 in a local hospital. He was a pastor and loved preaching and reading the Bible. He also loved to fly fish, read comics, garden, bird watch and spend time in his community. He spent 10 years of childhood in Africa and traveled to many countries. He was born June 23, 1952 in Hayward, California to the late Joseph and Dorothy (Harriss) Bisby, Sr.
Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Graphic Southern Baptist Church, 4102 W. Graphic Road, Alma, AR . Services and cremation are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Bisby of the home; daughters, Kelly Peterson and husband John of Springdale, AR and Katy Bisby of Portland, OR; 2 granddaughters, Sage and Iris Peterson; sisters, Dee Ann Gabro and husband Gary of Corpus Christie, TX and Martha Suzanne Caporusso of Houston, TX; brother, Stephen Bisby and wife Anne of Florida.
Honorary Pallbearers will be John Peterson, Brad Hyman, Steve Bisby, Gareth Pereira, Eric Pereira, Ian Pereira, Aubrey Hyman and Laurel Hyman.
