Obituary for Ramon Aurelio Hernandez

Sgt. Ramon Aurelio Hernandez, 32 of Alma passed away Monday, March 11, 2024 in a local hospital. He was a delivery driver for Hiland Dairy in Fort Smith and a U.S. Army Sgt. serving in Enduring Freedom. He enjoyed going to Dave & Busters in Fayetteville, the Marvel Super Heroes and physical fitness. He attended Eastside Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Alaina Hernandez of the home; two daughters Rias Hernandez and Rio Bella Hernandez both of Fort Smith; two sons Lennox Hernandez and Quentin Hernandez both of Fort Smith; one sister Felicitas (Joy) Hernandez of Alma; three brothers Martin Hernandez of Alma, Julian and Angel Hernandez both of Russellville; his mother Claudia Giron of Fort Smith; his father Ramon Hernandez Padilla of Alma.

Funeral services will be 11AM, Monday, March 18, 2024 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with military honors and burial at Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren. The family will visit with relatives and friends one hour prior to service from 10-11 AM at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Martin Hernandez, Julian Hernandez, Angel Hernandez and Brandon Word.
