Obituary for Patricia Ann Simpson (Wood)
Patricia Ann Simpson, 80, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away on April 5, 2023 in Greenwood. She was born on March 5, 1943 in Fort Smith, AR to Charles and Nettie (Gross) Wood. She was retired from Whirlpool and was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Elmer Simpson.
Graveside services are 10:00AM, Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
The family will visit with friends from 5-7PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
She is survived by her four daughters, Scherry Davis (Russell) of Muldrow, OK, Cynthia Simpson of Fort Smith, Debra Reed (Rodney) of Lowell, AR and Sheila Duplessis (Eddie) of Greenwood; two sisters, Carolyn Williams of Fort Smith and Linda Hicks of Chester, AR; two brothers, Charles Wood Jr. of Barling, AR and Bobby Wood of Chester, AR; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Rodney and Aaron Reed, Eddie Duplessis, Russell and Jeff Davis and Timmy Nolen.
