Obituary for Nancy Carole Witt
Nancy Carole Witt 80, a loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away Monday March 18, 2024. Nancy was a secretary at Texas State Technical Institute in Waco, TX. and the spouse of a Retired Air Force Veteran. Nancy loved genealogy and writing. She is preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Geneva Pettes (Moore); great grand-child Emmanuel Bradbury.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 61 years Jack Witt; a daughter Cheryl Tooke of Ft. Smith; two sons Jay Witt and wife Barbara of Van Buren, Jeffrey Witt and wife Devany of Niceville, FL; one brother Jerry Pettes and wife Dianne of Merced, CA; eleven grand-children, thirteen great grand-children and three great great grand-children.
A graveside service will be Thursday March 21, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the U.S. National Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren. The family will visit with relatives and friends Wednesday March 20, 2024 from 5-7 PM. 700 Jefferson St. Van Buren.
