Mattie Sue Strouss, 69, of Alma, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 in her home. She was a homemaker. She was born January 7, 1953 in Mulberry, AR to the late Doyle and Myrtle (Brown) Shelton and also preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, 4 brothers and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment in Dyer Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. The family will visit with friends from 5:00 until 7:00 pm on Friday evening, July 8, 2022 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, AR.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Stouss of the home; Melissa Kirby and husband James of Alma, Dodie Brumley and husband Butch of Mulberry and Alicia Kneeland of MO; sons, Matthew Strouss of Dyer and Cory Anderson of IN; grandchildren, Daneile Bane and husband Stone, Butch Brumley, II and wife Kendra, Brigara Dye and husband Zakk, Sondra Rose and husband Whitney, Cassie Chancellor, Joshua Brumley, Steven Kneeland and wife Terra and Nick Stouss; 29 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild on the way; sisters, Pat Bodine and husband Jim of Dyer and Shirley Sampley and husband Sherman of Dyer and a brother Jackie Shelton of Dyer.
Pallbearers will be Butch Brumley, James Kirby, Butch Brumley, II, Zakk Dye, Whitney Rose and Matthew Strouss.
