Obituary for Mary Frances Hancock (Hayes)
Mary Frances Hancock, 85 passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2023 in a local hospital. She was a retired secretary and a member of Home Church Chaffee Crossing in Fort Smith. She is preceded in death by both parents; two sisters Norma Watkins and Louise Henderson; two brothers Henry Hayes and Ernest Hawkins.
Funeral services will be graveside 11AM, Monday, May 8, 2023 at Fort Smith National Cemetery Pavilion in Fort Smith under the direction Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
She is survived by her husband Harold Hancock of the home; two sons Larry and Mark Hancock both of the home; three grandchildren Chelsea Gaither of The Colony, Texas, Courtney Hancock of Fort Smith and Cameron Hancock of Van Buren; one great-grandchild Carmen Gaither of The Colony, Texas; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Cameron Hancock, Blake Gaither, Neal Sutterfield and David Mondier.
Family will visit with relatives and friends Sunday, May 7, 2023 from 2-4PM at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson Street.
