Obituary for Mark E Gibson
Mark E. Gibson, 67 of Van Buren passed away Friday, October 7, 2022. He was born in Blackwell OK, on June 26, 1955. He was retired from Hiram Walker Allied Domecq in Fort Smith and attended the Crossroads Cowboy Church in Natural Dam. He is preceded in death by his father LaVern E. Gibson; a sister Lori Gibson.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 5-7 P.M. at Ocker Memorial Chapel 700 Jefferson Street in Van Buren. A family held memorial service will be Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 3:00 P.M. at the Crossroads Cowboy Church, Rafter J. Hero's Arena in Natural Dam 14445 State Hwy. 59 N. 72948. Arrangements are under the direction of Ocker Funeral in Van Buren 700 Jefferson St.
Mark is survived by his wife Brenda of the home; his mother Wanda Gibson of Van Buren; two daughters LaTrisa LaRue and husband Brad of Cedarville, and Brandy Miller and Husband Zach of Van Buren; a brother Clay Gibson of Van Buren; four grandchildren Tate and Tannah LaRue, Marky and Kase Miller.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Shepherd, Woody Mizell, Charlie Kizer, Johnny Miller, Corwyn Vinson, and Pete Covey.
