Obituary for Lindell Smith Williams

Lindell Smith Williams, 77, of Fort Smith was fully healed and went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 in Fort Smith. He was born June 12, 1946 in Fort Smith to Ronald and Martha Leona (Smith) Williams. He was a retired printer from Weldon, Williams and Lick and also later retired from Sparks Hospital in Central Supply. He is a former member of the Arkansas Air National Guard, a Christian and a life-long member of Temple Baptist Church. Lindell’s favorite past time was raising cattle on his family’s land in Witcherville, Arkansas, until his health would no longer allow. What Lindell loved the most was his family and cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks, in that order. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ronnie Williams of Greenwood.
Lindell is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jeanette; two daughters, Stefni Dickinson (Barry), Catrina Hibbs (Christopher), two sons, Toby and Todd Williams all of Ft. Smith; two living brothers, Terry Williams (Nan) of Witcherville and Steve Williams (Bea) of Little Rock; a sister in law, Ann Williams of Greenwood; six grandchildren, Lane Dickinson (Michelle) and Mattie Dickinson, Emmalee and Graham Hibbs, Carolann and Caleb Williams.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Saturday November 11, 2023 at Temple Baptist Church with burial at Oak Cemetery under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
Pallbearers will be Lane Dickinson, Terry Dray, Chad Willmon, David, Mark and Lance Williams. Honorary Pallbearers will be Blake Dray, Darin and Jeff Williams.
Visitation with family and friends will be Friday from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
