Obituary for Lela Ann Preston (Cousins)
Lela Ann Preston, 70, of Chester, passed away Monday, May 22, 2023 in her home. She was born July 29, 1952 in Lubbock, Texas. She was a homemaker, a loving mother, nana and “mom” to countless others. She is preceded in death by her father Leon Cousins; a sister Betty Carlene Cousins; two brothers David and Gary Cousins.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street Van Buren. No service will be held at this time.
She is survived by a daughter, LaDonna Noel and husband, Tim of Winslow; two sons, Greg Preston and wife, Barbara of Chester, Jeff Preston of Marathon, Florida; her mother, Betty Jean Cousins of Dustin, Oklahoma; her siblings, Sandy Johnson, Marnae Summers, Rusty, Edward, Larry, George and John Cousins, Earl Wayne Wilhite; five grandchildren and one great grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to either to the Winslow Community Development Center or to the Charity of your choice in her honor.
