LaVeda Ann “Lolly” Leakey, 75, of Dyer, Arkansas passed away July 26, 2022 at her home surrounded by loved ones. Lolly worked at the Mulberry Senior Center where she was a Meals on Wheels Driver for over 30 years. Her life devoted to serving others led to many friends who became family. Lolly was a devout Christian who faithfully attended Chastain Church of Christ. Lolly was born October 24, 1946 in Oxnard, California to the late Fred and Viva (Rackley) Sasse. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Larry Don Sasse.

Private burial is under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. The family will visit with friends and family at the Mulberry Senior Center at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday August 2, 2022. Pallbearers will be Dustin Leakey, Clay White, Evan Leakey, Eli Stoner, Johnny Griffin, Dean Leakey, Brent Gardner, and Robert Berna.

Lolly is survived by her husband of 57 years, Leonard “Wayne” Leakey of the home; daughter, LaGena Kay Cortright of Dyer, AR; brother, Ronald Sasse of Mulberry, AR; sister, Joyce Lees of Palmdale, CA; grandson, Dustin Leakey and wife Brandy Green of Howe, TX; great-grandchildren, Evan, Addie, and Paisley Leakey, Clay White, Eli Stoner, Hunter Coker; countless nieces and nephews, as well as a host of other loved ones.
