Laura D. Holland, 52, of Arkoma, Oklahoma went to be with her Savior Jesus after a yearlong battle with cancer. She was born on December 9, 1970 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Ross and Linda (Kelley) Holland. Laura graduated from Arkoma High School and West Ark Community College. She worked as a Lab Tech at area hospitals until health issues caused her to retire. Laura was a kind-hearted, fun loving person who enjoyed joking and visiting with family and friends. She loved to watch Star Wars, NASCAR races, Arkansas Razorbacks and San Francisco 49ers. Her greatest joy was spending time with her three nieces. She was a devout Christian and a longtime member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fort Smith, AR.
Laura is survived by her parents Ross and Linda Holland; a sister, Stephanie Comstock; three nieces, Kalyssa Holland and Angel and Tori Comstock as well as an aunt, uncles and various cousins and a very special friend, Shannon Dillard.
Funeral services are 2:00PM, Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with burial to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
The family will visit with friends from 5-7PM on Friday at the funeral home.
