Ronald Kevin Carty, 58, of Mulberry, Arkansas passed away Thursday, December 14, 2023 at his home. Kevin was a heavy equipment operator who enjoyed gardening and watching old movies. In his free time, he also enjoyed camping, shooting, and driving in the mountains. Kevin proudly served his community and when he was able, offered assistance to those in need. He was instrumental in helping to rebuild the Mulberry Volunteer Fire Department. He was the former owner of Angel Care and a long time first responder and paramedic. Kevin was proud to have served with many first responders including police officers, fire fighters, and paramedics. Kevin was born May 17, 1965 in Ozark, Arkansas to Roger and Sandy (Ortiz) Carty. Kevin was preceded in death by his wife, Karen (Boen) Carty, and great-niece, Lauren Sory.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 18, 2023 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma with cremation to follow. The family will visit with friends from 2:00 P.M. till 4:00 P.M. Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.

Kevin is survived by his parents, Roger and Sandy Carty of Mulberry, AR; daughters, Alex Wilkins of Fort Smith, AR, Amber Cagle of Fort Smith, AR, Ashton Cagle of Ozark, AR; son, Kyle Cagle of Ozark, AR; sisters, Danielle Carty of Mulberry, AR, Terri Cooper of Charleston, AR; niece, Wendi Sory of Mulberry, nephew, Justin Gatewood and wife Trudy of Altus; great-nephews, Glen Sory, Clayton Gatewood; great-nieces, Kenzi Gatewood, Alice Wood, Cecilia Gatewood, Marian Gatewood; cats, Chuchip and Crooked Tail of Pleasant Hill Road
