Obituary for Kenneth Wayne Leakey

Kenneth Wayne Leakey, 58 of Alma passed away Friday, November 11, 2022 in his home. He dedicated his life to ministry, his family, St. Louis Cardinals, Dallas Cowboys and Wal-Mart (to which he just celebrated his 25th anniversary). He was passionate about taking care of his pool, traveling to Gulf Shores and Branson. He enjoyed his sweetheart’s home cooked meals and deserts. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Ferrari; a granddaughter, Payton Leakey.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 14, 2022 at House of Praise in Fort Smith with cremation to follow under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday, November 13, 2022 from 2-4 PM at Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, 700 Jefferson Street.

He is survived by his wife, Tina (McGhee) Leakey of the home; two daughters, Melody Gammon and husband, Sean of Ozark, MO, Katie Vansell and husband, Eddie of Van Buren; three sons, Michael Leakey and wife, Anna of Van Buren, Hunter Rogers of Orlando, FL, Joey White and wife, Annika of San Diego, CA and his bonus son, Marty Key and wife, Jana Brooke of Van Buren; his mother, Darlene Ferrari of Van Buren; his father, Donald Leakey of Van Buren; two sisters, Samantha Fillyaw and Angela Leakey both of Van Buren; one brother, Bruce Leakey of Cecil; thirteen grandchildren; his in-laws, James and Linda Mcghee of Alma; his brother in law, Blake McGhee of Alma; numerous nieces and nephews.
