Jonathan Earl Hill, 73 of Fort Smith passed away Friday, July 22, 2022 in his home. He was a retired police officer for the Van Buren Police Dept.; He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving two terms in the Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary (Bell) Hill; his parents, William Earl and Lois Mae (Robertson) Hill.

Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren. No service will be held at this time.

He is survived by his son, Jon Hill and wife, Tereasa of Florida; one grandchild and one great grandchild.
