Obituary for John L. Joseph Nichols
John L. Joseph Nichols, 71, of Mountainburg, Arkansas passed away on Monday March 10, 2023 at a local hospital. John was a member of Fern Assembly of God Church. He loved fishing, being outdoors, and spending time with his family. John had a big heart, he never met a stranger, and loved to talk with people.
John was born May 3, 1951 in Crossett, Arkansas to the late Kenneth Ray and Johnnie Mae (Hunter) Nichols. John was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Leadeena (Davis) Nichols; parents, Kenneth Ray and Johnnie Mae (Hunter) Nichols; and brother, Michael Nichols. He is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Nichols of Mountainburg, AR, and son, Adam Nichols of Mountainburg, AR.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 PM till 7:00 PM Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Thursday April 13, 2023 at Fern Assembly of God in Fern, AR, with interment to follow at Brewer Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David King, Randy Jones, Larry Sisk, Ron Morrow, Matt Sisk, Matt Drummond.
