John Darrell Meadors, 79, of Mountainburg, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday April 10, 2024. John was a retired truck driver and farmer. He was an Army Veteran and loved hunting and fishing. He was a hard worker and worked until he couldn’t. John was born February 10, 1945 in Chester, Arkansas to the late Emery and Opal (Laws) Seratt. He was preceded in death by his biological parents, Emery and Opal Seratt; adopted parents, Otis and Leila “Depp” (Hensley) Meadors; brothers, Clayton Seratt, Leonard Seratt; and sister Hazel Hattabaugh.

Cremation is under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma

John is survived by his sons, Johnathan Meadors and partner Lacy of Mountainburg, AR, Donnie Meadors and wife Brooklyn of Mountainburg, AR; grandchildren, Johnathan Meadors, Maci Barnes, Westin Cantrell, Lexi Cantrell; brothers, Jess Seratt, Dee Seratt, Opie Seratt, Anthony Seratt; and sister, Emily Perkins.
