Obituary for Joan Rae Rickabaugh (Jeffries)
Joan Rae Rickabaugh, 88 of Van Buren passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2023 in a local hospital. She was a retired administrative assistant for the State Social Services. She is preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Berdine (Peters) Jeffries; a sister Jacqueline Shaw; her former husband LeRoy Rickabaugh.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home Van Buren. The family will visit with relatives and friends one hour prior to her service.
She is survived by one son Brett Rickabaugh and wife Shannon of Runnells, Iowa; two sisters Virginia Phipps and husband Larry of Van Buren, Donnabelle Richtsmeier of Des Moines, Iowa; two grandchildren Alexander and Casandra Rickabaugh.
