Jerry Wayne Shelly Sr., 77 of Natural Dam died Saturday, November 19, 2022 at his home. He was a retired forklift operator at Bekaert Steel Company in Van Buren. A former member of the Cedarville School Board; he was a longtime member of the Grandview Assembly of God Church in Natural Dam. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (Skinner) Shelly; a son, Jerry Shelly Jr.; his parents, Robert and Alice (Allen) Shelly; four sisters, Shirley Smith, Barbara Shelly, Juanita Shelly and Imogene Gray; two brothers, Harrison and Kenneth Shelly.

Funeral service will be at 2 PM Friday, November 25, 2022 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Hall Cemetery in Natural Dam under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home Van Buren. There will not be a set visitation.

He is survived by one daughter, Stacey Shelly of Natural Dam; two sons, Craig Shelly and wife, Vicki Golden of Alma, Brian Shelly and wife, Sarah of Natural Dam; two sisters, Sharron Goss and husband David of Natural Dam, Beverly Pyle and husband, Bill of Cedarville; and his companion, Velma Emberton; seventeen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren and two on the way.

Pallbearers will be Alex Harrison, Tom Metcalf, Brandon Shelly, Bryan Shelly, Justin Shelly and Steven Shelley.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Shelley, Timmy Shelley, Dustin Shelley, Kenny Shelley, James Dyer and Wally Dyer.
