Obituary for Jason McDowell
Jason McDowell, 49 of Van Buren passed away Saturday, February 4, 2023 in his home. He was a Master Plumber for twenty-six years. He was a member of The Refuge Ministries in Van Buren. He is preceded in death by his father Kim McDowell.
He is survived by his wife of nineteen years Anissa Jill of the home; one daughter Emma Maelei McDowell of the home, two sons Dustin Walker McDowell and his wife Kyla of Ozark and Austin Lane Gosch of San Francisco, California; two grandsons Turner Dane Branch and Garedth Jefferson Branch of Ozark; his mother Nancy McDowell of Fort Smith; a brother Travis McDowell and his wife Tonya of Fort Smith; lastly his canine companions Apollo and Baxter.
Funeral services will be 10AM, Saturday February 11, 2023 at The Refuge Ministries in Van Buren with Pastor Cliff Weldon presiding with burial to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be John Winters, Neal Griggs, Derek Stowe, Jimmy Manuel, Heath Walker, Brian Moore, Stacy Mullinex and Michael Fowler.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Dane Douglas.
