Janet Ann Chance, 70 of Fort Smith passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024 in Fort Smith. She retired from Wingfoot Trucking Company in Fort Smith; She was owner/operator of Tracks Permit Services. She was a member of Van Buren United Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Lewis; her parents Lee Edward Sr.and Nancy Ann (Blair) Hyatt; a sister Earlene Hyatt; a brother Lee Edward Hyatt Jr.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 2, 2024 at Van Buren United Pentecostal Church with burial at Sarah Grove Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
The family will visit with relatives and friends Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street Van Buren.

She is survived by one son Damon Chance of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one step daughter Collen Franklin and husband Terry of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; one sister Patty Powell and husband Harry of Fort Smith; four grandchildren Lesely, Dylan and Stephanie Chance and Christopher Franklin.

Pallbearers will be Danny Barnes, Chad Davis, Carson Davis, Gabriel Reynolds, Dallas Ball, Christopher Franklin and Aaron Willis
