Obituary for James Larry Friddle

James Larry Friddle, 69, of Chester, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 in a local hospital. He was a Broadcast Engineer for 40/29 TV for 40 years, a U.S. Navy Veteran and a 1971 graduate of Mountainburg High School. He was a Member, Trustee and Sunday School Secretary at Van Buren Victory Temple Pentecostal Church of God. He loved fishing and creating new game software. He was born August 21, 1953 in Mulberry, AR to the late Paul Curtis and Betty Jean (London) Friddle.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, August 7, 2023 at Ocker Chapel in Alma with interment in Vaught Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, The family will visit with friends from 2:00 until 4:00 pm Sunday afternoon, August 6, 2023 at the funeral home, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, AR.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Donna Friddle of the home; sisters, Deborah Provence of Springdale, AR and Pamela Kaye Henson and husband Harlan of Fayetteville, AR; brother, Joe Curtis Friddle and wife Delia of Chester, AR; Uncle Jerry D. Friddle of Van Buren, AR and numerous loved nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Harlan Henson, Matthew Darden, Zachary Darden, Steve Young, Terry Shoptaw, James Ray and Scott Pricard.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mickey Darden, A.C. Champion and Engineering department and staff of 40/29.
