Obituary for Jackie Donald Shelton
Jackie Donald Shelton, 66, of Alma, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Monday, April 26, 2023 at a local hospital. He was of the Pentecostal faith and a retired diesel mechanic. He was an avid fisherman and loved shooting pool in his free time. Jackie was born August 21, 1956 in Van Buren, Arkansas to the late Doyle Shelton and Myrtle (Tollison) Shelton.
Jackie was preceded in death by his parents, Doyle and Myrtle Shelton; wife, Debra De (Elkins) Shelton; brothers, Jerry Shelton, Jimmy Shelton, Joey Shelton, and Allen Shelton; sister, Mattie Strouss; and stepson, Michael McClane.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, April 28, 2023 at Dyer Cemetery in Dyer Arkansas. Jackie is survived by his son, Jesse Shelton of Elk City, OK; stepdaughter, Christol Stanken of Fayetteville, AR, and Sarah Workman of Mulberry, AR; sisters, Patricia Bodine, and Shirley Sampley; grandchildren, Brooklyn Shelton, and Shade Shelton.
