Howard Wayne Peters, 83, of Mulberry, Arkansas passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 10, 2023. He was a general laborer and attended Mulberry Assembly of God Church. Howard loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed watching any Arkansas Razorback game. He was a 1960 graduate of Mulberry High School where he was a member of the 1960 state championship basketball team. Howard was born August 30, 1940 in Blevins, Arkansas to the late Delmer and Grace (Milligan) Peters. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty (Caster) Peters; parents, Delmer and Grace Peters; sisters, Wanda Dunn, and Catherine Hughes.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma with interment to follow at New Cemetery in Mulberry, AR. Honorary pallbearers will be Gail Morse, and Frank Clift. Arrangements are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.

Howard is survived by his sons, Terry Peters and wife Lori of Mulberry, AR, Dwain Peters of Mulberry, AR, daughter, Delana Carroll of Mulberry, AR; ten grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
