Obituary for Harold "Ray" Cluck

Harold “Ray” Cluck, 81, of Chester, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Sunday January 21, 2024. Ray was of the Christian faith. Early in his career he worked for Dow Chemical and later went on to become a stone mason, which he eventually retired from. Ray loved to grow blueberries, at one point having one of the largest nurseries in Arkansas. Ray was born June 4, 1942 in Chester, Arkansas to the late Robert Henry and Tempie Irene (Davis) Cluck. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Tempie Cluck; sisters, Vera Collins, Wanda Hanson, Christine Jones, Norma Pixley; brothers, Glen Cluck, Vernon Cluck, David Cluck, Bob Cluck, and Fines Cluck.

Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 26, 2024 at Freedom Cemetery in Chester, AR. The family will visit with friends from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. Pallbearers will be Marty Cluck, Billy Cluck, William Cluck, Toby Turner, Raymond Moore, and Hagen Moore. Honorary pallbearers will be Chuck Cluck and Ronnie Cluck.

Ray is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary (Noe) Cluck; sons, Marty Cluck and wife Alyssa of Chester, Billy Cluck of Chester, AR; daughter, Carrie Moore and husband Raymond of Chester, AR; grandchildren, William Cluck, Toby Turner, Wyatt Moore, Shyla Moore, Hagen Moore, April McBroom, Sean Sivage; great-grandchildren, Layken Sivage, Goldie Sivage, Brantley McBroom, Bryson McBroom; sisters, Ruby Davis, Donna Linder, Barbara Hopkins, and Karren Patrick.
