Obituary for Harold James Edwards
Harold James Edwards, 76, of Ft. Smith passed away on Monday Jan. 16, 2023 in his home. He was born Dec. 8, 1946 in Ft. Smith to James D. and Dorothy (Boyd) Edwards. He was a machinist for Weldon Williams and Lick, a former member of the Army Reserve and a Mason. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Linda Edwards and Debra Peters and one brother Jimmy Edwards.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Donna; two sons, David Edwards and his husband Michael Thompson of Cordova, TN and Matt Edwards and his wife, Angela of Ft. Smith; one brother, David Edwards and his wife Carol of Ft. Smith; two grandchildren, Colby and Emma Edwards.
Memorial service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith with Masonic Rights. The Family will visit with friends following the service at the funeral home.
