George Douglas Rudy, 76, of Rudy, Arkansas passed away on July 10, 2022 at his home. He was a retired Air Force Veteran. After his service in the Air Force, he worked as a Trucking dispatcher for CCC Express. He was a member of the Messanic Fellowship, an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved racing cars and playing pool. George was born June 25, 1946 to the late Roy B. and Grace (Burkhart) Rudy. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, James Douglas Rudy; daughter, Renada Diann Henderson; brother, James Rudy; and sister Bernice Derrington.
The family will visit with friends and family from 5:00 till 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. Cremation is under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis (Wheeler) Rudy of the home; daughter, Jennifer Robertson and husband Brent of Rudy; six grandchildren, Chase Davis, Grace Smith, Eric Rudy, Elizabeth Dyer, Brittany Combs, Samantha Davis; nine grandchildren; one sister, Nell Rudy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
