Fred Eagle, 71 of Van Buren passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022 in a local hospital. He was retired from the Arkansas Highway Department. He was a United States Marine Veteran who enjoyed dirt track racing. He was preceded in death by his father Audie Eagle and his mother and step-father Betty Jo and Don Adams; brothers Willy Pollock and Stanley Eagle.

He is survived by his wife Kay of the home; two sons Ray and his wife Terry of Pineville, Missouri and Jason and his wife Melissa of Van Buren; two daughters Loretta Swanson and husband Todd of Wisconsin and Lacy Wilson and husband Jamie of Van Buren, Anita Dunn and husband Jason of Louisville, Kentucky, Dawn London and husband Anthony of Fort Smith, Gina McFerran and husband Kevin of Central City and J.B Sparks of Evansville; four sisters Sylvia Barker of Van Buren, Debbie Charapata of Springdale, Diana Darris of Van Buren and Ladonna Bock of Mansfield; five brothers Johnny Eagles of NWA, Donnie Adams of Mansfield, Sherman Adams of Van Buren, Dee Adams of Little Rock; grandchildren Makayla and husband Matt, Madison, Brady and wife Breanna, Cody and wife Addie, Ashley and husband Jason, Mathew and wife Emily, Heather and husband Rick, Blade, Kannon, Riley, Willow, Lily, Drake ; great-grandchildren Adalynn, Kamdyn, Baylee, Aly, Frankie and Margot.

Graveside service will be 10A.M., Friday July 22, 2022 at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

Family will visit with relative and friends Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 5-7 PM at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren.
