Everett “Leon” Thomas, 79, of Mulberry, Arkansas passed away on August 30, 2022 in Clarksville. Leon attended Alma Full Gospel Church. He loved playing the guitar, fishing, tinkering, and trading things. Leon was born January 11, 1943 in Van Buren to the late Richard and Essie (Ranker) Thomas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Essie Ranker; brother, Travis Thomas; and sister, JoAnn Flowers.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Friday, September 2, 2022 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma with interment to follow at Freedom Cemetery in Chester, AR. The family will visit with friends and family from 5:00 till 7:00 PM Thursday, August 1, 2022 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. Pallbearers will be James Pence, Ryan Pence, Travis Sanders, Paul Zolliecoffer, Dale Harris, and Jimmy Sutton.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Mussetta (Ridenoure) Thomas; daughter, Lori Pence and husband Ken of Ozark, AR; sons, Cliff Thomas and wife Teresa of Roland, OK, Brady Thomas of Mulberry, AR; grandchildren, Travis Sanders, Blake Thomas, Ashley Pence, Megan Zolliecoffer, James Pence, Ryan Pence, Willy Thomas; great-grandchildren, Landon, Hunter, Trenton, Lexi, Kennedy, Noah, Tatum; brothers, Raymond Thomas, Gary Thomas, Cletus Thomas; sisters Norma McKinney, and Sharon McKinney.
