Obituary for Emily Wandella Brewer (Hibbard)
Emily Wandella Brewer, 97 of Van Buren passed away Thursday, October 19, 2023 in a local nursing home. She was a homemaker and an avid fisherman. She was a member of Merge Church in Van Buren. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl J. Brewer; her parents Levi and Barbara (Hooper) Hibbard; three sisters and three brothers.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Monday, October 23, 2023 at the U.S. National Cemetery Pavilion under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
She is survived by two daughters Barbara Crabtree and husband Jerry of Van Buren, Carol Wilson and husband Kyn of London, AR; one son Donald Brewer of Edmond, OK; two brothers Thurman Hibbard and wife Loretta of Pryor, OK and Bob Hibbard and wife Maryann of Chouteau, OK; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
