Ellen June (Bostick) Lewis, 81, of Van Buren was born into this world on February 14, 1942 to her late parents Dewey (Dude) and Mae Bostick. Ellen June passed on March 22, 2023 in her home. She was retired and was a member of Heritage Heights Methodist Church in Van Buren. In her younger years, she was a proud member of the Crawford County Democratic Party where she enjoyed traveling to functions across the state. She was elected “Woman of the Year” in 1994 by the Arkansas Federation of Business and Professional Women. She was preceded in death by: her son, Jason Lewis, two sisters, Wanda Bagwell and Gussie Arnold; one niece, Sherri Mason; and two nephews, Dennis Akins and Dickie Arnold.

She is survived by five nieces and one nephew Delona Dooley and Brenda Cate of Fort Smith; Zelda Coleman, Joy Megehee, Meredith (Cricket) Eckle, and Dee Arnold all of Van Buren. She will be laid to rest at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren with a memorial to be held at a later date.
