Obituary for Dale I Moore
Dale I. Moore, 89 of Van Buren passed away Sunday, April 30, 2023 in a local nursing home. He was the owner/operator of the Apple Market Grocery Store in both Van Buren and Fort Smith. He was a member of Liberty Fellowship 2.0 in Fort Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Phoebe (Barnes) Moore; a brother Ivan Moore; his sister Dorothy Smith.
He is survived by his wife Dollye (West) Moore of the home; a son Garry Moore and wife Janice of Alma; daughters, Sherry Roberts and husband Ralph of Alma, Pam Collins and husband Jim of Van Buren and son Duane Moore and wife Candy of Van Buren; three brothers Bill Moore of Van Buren, Joe Moore and Ronnie Moore both of Van Buren; twelve grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Family will visit with relatives and friends Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 5-7PM at Ocker Funeral Home Van Buren, 700 Jefferson Street.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
