Curtis Dale Peters, 68, of Chester, AR passed away in his home on Saturday, February 10, 2024. He was a truck driver, loved hunting and fishing and was and a veteran of the US Army. Curtis was born July 3, 1955 in Mulberry to the late Reverend Archie and Lora (Yeakley) Peters. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Peters; sisters, Barbara Gregory, Sharon Jones and Alta Jones; brothers, Archie Peters, Jr., Laylon “Pete” Peters and Faye Peters.

Family held service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at the US National Cemetery Pavilion in Fort Smith with burial to follow.

Survivors include his wife, Kellie Peters of the home; daughter, Casey Peters of Mammoth Springs, AR; son, Adam Peters and wife Nicole of Searcy, AR; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

The family will visit with friends from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy 64 E., Alma, AR.
