Clifton Beneux “C.B.” Ward, 87, was born on November 10, 1935 and departed this life on February 26, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cliff and Bonnie (Beneux) Ward; one brother, Bill Ward and his sisters, Betty, Margarete, Judy, Eunice and Kay and a grandson Clifton. C.B. was an Army Veteran and served from 1953-1956. He then served in the Reserves until 1961. He worked at Armbrusters in Fort Smith as a body and fender man, an avid gardener and knife maker and dearly loved his dogs. He was a lifelong resident of Mulberry, AR.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment in Rankin Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Anita Sue (Carty) Ward; daughters, Deborah Bermudez of Hutchins, TX and Gayla Diane Ward of Van Buren; son, Michael “Mike” Ward and wife, Dawn of Mulberry and sisters, Sandra White of Alma and Brenda Blaine and husband Jimmy of Mountainburg; 6 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be Curtis Jones, Kevin Swanson, Bobby Nixon, Lonnie Roe, Kenneth Shipley, David Hoyle, Jimmy Blaine and Reggie Tucker.
