Claudia Arzubiaga-Etzkocn, 47, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on January 21, 2024 at Mercy Hospital Fort Smith hospital. She was born in Lima, Peru to Alfredo and Susana (Moreira) Arzubiaga. Claudia grew up in California and was a former medical assistant at Kaiser Hospital in California where she got the most joy out of helping people. Claudia has lived in Forth Smith Arkansas for over 10 years, enjoying the kind and beautiful community with her dog Daisy and is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Claudia enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, taking care of animals, learning the latest make up techniques, decorating her home and watching her favorite classic TV shows like Friends and Buffy the Vampire slayer.

Claudia is survived by her loving parents, Alfredo and Susana Arzubiaga of Banning, California; a sister, Carla Arzubiaga of San Diego, California; a brother, Alfredo Arzubiaga of Los Angeles, California; her niece, Cassidy Arzubiaga of San Diego, California, her nephew Mason Arzubiaga of Los angeles, California and sister inlaw Jeanne Arzubiaga of Los Angeles California.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
