Obituary for Cary Philip Smith
Cary Philip Smith of Fort Smith passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024 in a local hospital. He was a retired Chiropractor in Roland, Oklahoma and the minister of Church of Christ Church in Roland, Oklahoma for twenty years. He is preceded in death by his parents Wallace T. and Ouida (Stroud) Smith; one brother Ronald W. Smith.
He is survived by his wife Sandra Lee Smith of the home; one daughter Carrie Smith Morgan and husband Matthew of Nashville; one son Clay Alan Smith and wife Ellen of Fort Smith; three grandchildren Riley, Cash and Sloane Morgan; one sister-in-law Anita Linn Smith of Fort Smith; mother-in-law Alta Beckham of Van Buren; sister-in-law Pamela Hendrickson and husband Larry, and sister-in-law Phyllis Beckham Scott all of Van Buren; brother-in-law Rick Beckham and wife Carla of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral memorial services will be 11AM, Monday February 19, 2024 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Bruce Coleman, Jerry Vincent, Larry Hendrickson, Rick Beckham, Ted Knight, Matthew Morgan, Harold Slate, Gerald Cowens, Jerry Russell, William Kamp, Wade Pressley and John Kamp.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Southern Christian Home 100 W. Harding Street, Morrilton, Arkansas 72110.
