Obituary for Carol Ann Payton (Spears)
Carol Ann Payton, 81, of Mountainburg, AR passed away at her home on Friday, October 28, 2022. She was a retired Mountainburg High School secretary and substitute teacher. Carol was born June 12, 1941 in Mountainburg to the late Uli and Flora (Turner) Spears. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Miller.
Cremation is under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Survivors include her husband, Frank Payton of the home; a daughter, Tami Harris (Todd) of Mountainburg; a son, Brad Payton of Mountainburg; grandchildren, Anna Belle and Emma Elaine Payton and Payton Todd and Ava Mae Harris and a sister, Sarrah Sue Barnes.
