Obituary for (Carl) Dennis Chitwood
Carl Dennis Chitwood 77, of Van Buren passed away Monday, December 4, 2023 in his home. He was retired from Rheem Manufacturing in Fort Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents Carl & Evva (Cash) Chitwood; one brother Kenneth Chitwood; one sister Marjorie Chitwood Foster; three nephews Dwain, Darrell and Ernie Cromwell.
He is survived by his companion Debbie Jones of the home; three nieces Beth Woods of Fort Smith, Deon Picanso of Potomac, Virginia and Becky Wear of Fort Smith; one step-daughter Nikki Jones of Van Buren; one step-son John Cooper;a granddaughter Blakely Jones of Van Buren; three grandnieces; five grandnephews and his beloved dog Smokey.
Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
