Obituary for Beatrice Kay "Bea" Osborne
Beatrice “Bea” Osborne, 76, of Shady Point, OK passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022. She was a homemaker but also had various talents that helped her throughout her life in other careers like school bus driver, truck driver and waitressing at several restaurants around the area. She was an animal lover, loved to travel, ride motorcycles and horses and camping and trail riding at Cedar Lake. Granny Bea loved spending time with her family and friends. Bea was born October 15, 1946 in Fort Smith to the late Winton and Alice (Fischer) Osborne. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Alicia Jones.
Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment at Newberry Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. The family will visit with friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Monday, November 14, 2022 at Ocker Chapel of Alma, 917 Hwy 64 E., Alma, AR.
She is survived by daughters, Angela Meek of Shady Point, OK and Karla Stephens of Chester; son, Jimmy Jones and wife Amy of Henryetta, OK; grandchildren, Chad, Colt, Ty, Kyle, Beth, Jadin, Steven, Kendell, Brock, Waylon, Mitch, Megan and Clayton; 27 great grandchildren; sisters, Irene Smith and companion Kenneth Leding and Evonne Berry and husband Buddy; brother, Buster Osborne and wife Renee and nieces Nikki Ray White and Gwen Ray Haddock.
Pallbearers will be Chad, Ty, Kyle, Colt, Brock, Waylon and Clayton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Steven, Kendell and Mitch.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to 3 Girls Animal Rescue, PO Box 1001, Shady Point, OK 74956 to continue Granny Bea’s passion for the love of animals.
