Ava Jean Jackson, 92 of Mountainburg, AR passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023. She was a member of Revis Hill Assembly of God Church, a homemaker, and loved her family and cooking for them. Ava was born December 12, 1930 in Bidville to the late Tom and Lissie (Rush) Provence. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Mildred Parker, Hazel Wood and Reba Harrison and brothers, James, Frank, Glenn, Charles, Ora and Huey Provence.

Service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at Bidville Church with interment at Bidville cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. The family will visit with friends from 5-7 PM on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Ocker Chapel of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 E., Alma, AR.

Ava is survived by her husband of 72 years, Jack Jackson; daughters, Debra Harrell and husband Tom of Searcy and Janette Roberts and husband Billy of Roland, OK; son, Tommy Jackson of Mountainburg; grandchildren, Nicole Givens (Seth), Dusty Harrell (Misty) and Linzie Burkitt (Ryan); great grandchildren, Hannah, Caleb, Andrew, Sarah, Matthew and Bethany Givens, Houston and Serina Harrell; great great-grandchild, Rilynn and one sister, Ella (Polly) Baker.

Pallbearers will be Seth Givens, Caleb Givens, Andrew Givens, Billy Roberts, Dusty Harrell and Tom Harrell.
