Obituary for Annis Lorraine Carter (Napier)

Annis Lorraine Carter, 86 of Natural Dam passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024 in her home. She retired as lead lady at the Campbell Soup Plant in Fayetteville. She loved to read, quilt and embroidery. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Lincoln, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents Samuel and Iris Mae (King) Napier; husband, John Emzie Carter; two sons Rodney and Roger Carter.

She is survived by two daughters Patricia Reed and husband Paul of Natural Dam and Jessica Denise Hancock of Evansville; three sons Robert Carter and wife Sarah of Cedarville, Butch Dobbs and wife Jeannie of Pryor, Oklahoma and Tim Trentham and wife Dee of Evansville; grandchildren Kurt (Autum) Reed, Kyle (May) Reed, Kasey (Candice) Reed, Virginia (Bobby) Murray, Roger Carter, Mariah (Colton) McCurry, Bobby (Stephanie) Reather, Savannah Carter, Cambre Carter, Scott Lowery; great-grandchildren Madison, Dylan, Autumn, Kylie, Veyaira, Kierstan, Makalie, Jayden, Karmen, Kayli, Karson, Violet, Kincaid, Evelynn, Mack, Paxton and Ryker; great-great grandchildren Oaklynn and Emzie.

Funeral services will be 1PM, Thursday February 1, 2024 at Hall Cemetery Arbor in Natural Dam with burial to follow under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

Family will visit with relatives and friends Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 4-6PM at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson Street Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Roger Carter, Kyle Reed, Kasey Reed, Kurt Reed, Dylan Murray and Rick Keith.

Honorary Pallbearers will be grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
