Obituary for Albert Wilson Jr.

Albert Wilson Jr., 78, of Mulberry, Arkansas passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, December 19, 2023. Albert was a retired supervisor for the Baldor winding department and attended Mulberry First Assembly of God Church. He loved collecting antique cars, camping, and fishing. Albert was a self-sufficient man and loved do it yourself projects. He was able to build his home while still working a full-time job. Albert was born May 22, 1945 in Mulberry, Arkansas to the late Albert Sr. and Cletus Ann (Watkins) Wilson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Sr. and Cletus Wilson; brother, JD Wilson; sisters, Joy Lee Shores, Shirley Wilson, and Delores Wilson.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma with interment to follow at Pope Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Friday, December 22, 2023 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. Services are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. Pallbearers will be Paul Schwartz, Dillan Higgins, Joseph Elser, Colby Newton, Jacob Sheffer, and Rick Reeves. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Millsap, John R. Williams, Bobby Don Tweedy, Richard Suttles, Richard Mirus, and Kenneth Patterson.

Albert is survived by his wife of 58 years, Linda (Patterson) Wilson of the home; daughters, Angela Pogue and husband Troy of Alma, AR, Elizabeth Reeves and husband Danny of Mulberry, AR, Connie Higgins and husband Brent of Ozark, AR; son, Jason Wilson and life partner Robbi Graham of Mulberry, AR; grandchildren, Brandi Sheffer, Kayla McChristian, Paul Schwartz, Brooke Elser, Dillian Higgins, Whitney Higgins, Addison Wilson, Cole Wilson, Rick Reeves, Dylan Reeves; great-grandchildren, Emma Sheffer, Everleigh Newton, Maci Schwartz, Oliver Schwartz, Matthew Elser, Michael Elser, Lakelyn Higgins, Hazel Higgins, Kouver Stogsdill, Ashlynn Reeves, Kensly Reeves, Presley Reeves; sister, Ruth Beller, Barbara Rogers, and Peggy Pohle.
