Margaret Elizabeth Smith Hanson Jacobs, 68, of Fort Smith, Arkansas died on Thursday, March 10, 2011 in a local hospital. She was a retired bookkeeper, office manager and a Methodist. She was loved by all and as a young child she was baptized by the Rev. Billy Graham. She was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas F. Smith, Sr. & Anelia Hill Smith, two sons, Michael Hanson and David Hanson; two brothers, Don A. and W. David Smith.

She is survived by a son, Eric Hanson; one grandson, Bradley Hanson and one brother, Doug F. Smith, Jr. and wife, Sandra of Jacksonville, Arkansas.
