Obituary for Mary Jane Smith (Grosz)
Mary Jane Smith of Ft. Smith passed away on Saturday June 5, 2021 in Fort Smith. She was born in Parkston, SD to Hubert W. and Adeline (Sandau) Grosz. Mary was a retired RN with Sparks Hospital, a graduate of the Methodist School of Nursing in Mitchell, SD and the College of St. Francis in Joliet, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband Belmont B. Smith, Jr.
She is survived by one daughter, Raechelle Suh and her husband Thomas of Sterling, VA; one son Randall Smith of Madison, WI; five grandchildren, Anand Desai and his wife Carolyn, Priya Desai Lodico and her husband Michael, Mary Fore, Susan Fore and Genevieve Mimi Suh; six great-grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew, Jacob, Florence Asha, Ravi and Louis.
Cremation was under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith with private burial in U.S. National Cemetery.
